Cathedral – Gniezno. Located on Lech Hill. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful monuments in Europe. Built in the second half of the 10th century by Mieszko I. The present Gothic building dates from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries. In the past it was the coronation hall of Polish kings. Rest here the ashes of St. Adalbert – the first patron saint of Poland. To this day it is the seat of Polish archbishops and primates.
